This remote access is cross-platform so if you have an iPad at home you need to access, you can do that from your Android mobile or vice versa. Both devices do need to be running the TeamViewer app with the latest update installed. The updated app will allow you to perform live screen sharing, exchange secure information via the clipboard. All data between the two devices is secured via 256-bit AES encryption and 2048-bit RSA key exchange..

The TeamViewer update also allows remote access to Windows 10 mobile devices. With this updated app you can access iOS, Android and Windows 10 mobiles. This might be the perfect app for an administrator in a business with mixed devices that needs the ability to perform remote troubleshooting and assistance. Obviously both devices will need to have the app installed and the remote user will need to be given permission.

The updated app is available via Google Play now and is free for personal use. The app is easy to use and has the ability to give you a list of devices you have access to. Once permission is granted, you can remotely administer devices with full access for PCs behind firewalls and proxy servers. Touch gestures are supported align with full keyboard functionality and support for multiple-monitors. Sound and video are transmitted in real-time.
